Ralph W. Farmer was born in Memphis, Tennessee on October 17, 1933, and was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in 1959. His educational background included the University of Tennessee (B.S., 1955; L.L. B., 1959). He was Order of the Coif and was Editor in Chief, Tennessee Law Review, 1958-1959. He served in the Tennessee House of Representatives, 1965-1966 and Tennessee State Senate, 1967-1968, serving as Chairman of the Joint Senate-House Constitutional Revision Committee, 1967-1968. He is a Fellow with the American College of Trial Lawyers and Tennessee Bar Foundation. Ralph retired from the active practice of law in 1994, but still serves in an “of counsel” position with the firm.
